The Abbeygail Guesthouse is a friendly family run guest house situated in the East Cliff area of Ramsgate in Kent. It has a growing reputation for good food and clean confortable spacious rooms. We have been awarded the Thanet Council clean food award for the 4th year running and are presently rated a "Four Star" rating by Visit Britain. We are located close to the sea front and beaches, the Royal Marina and within easy reach of the Ferry Port to Ostend. Ramsgate railway station is approximately a 15 minutes walk and Kent International Airport is a short cab ride. There are golf courses, pubs,clubs, resturants and the new Westwood Cross shopping center all close by. Ramsgate is around 70 miles to London and a 30 min drive to the famous towns of Canterbury and Whitstable. There are Ferry terminals at Dover and Ramsgate and the Ashford Channel Tunnel station is 1 hour by car.
We
offer facilities to suit everyone from large family rooms for holiday makers
to smaller rooms for professional, business, and working people.We have Single,
Twin, Double and Family rooms and a large en-suite family Chalet sleeping 4
is also available situated at the rear of the property offering exclusion and
privacy. We have a large Car Port available with access onto
the main road for Motor bikes, Cyclists and Disability Buggies. There
is un-restricted parking at both the front and back of the
guesthouse.Our rooms come with En-suite facilities, TV/VCR,
Tea/Coffee/ and clean towels .We have a large and extensive
Film collection available and free for your leisure.
We also offer WI-FI Broadband Internet facilities ( available
from your laptop in all rooms) so you go on-line check email
and collect other information you may need

Room 1... is an attractive Double room a large window overlooking the garden and situated on the first floor with easy access to the shower room. It has a hand basin for washing and a shaving point with mirror.There is a dressing table with mirror.The room comes with towels, tea/coffee facilities, TV VCR and clock radio.

Room 2... is a beautiful Twin room with en-suite facilities situated on the fisrt floor. It has been recently re-furbished and decorated. The room has a separate shower room alongside a toilet, sink,shaver point and mirror.. The room comes with towels, TV/VCR, tea/coffee facilities and clock radio.

Room 4...
is a Large spacious Family en-suite room situated on the first
floor with a large bay window at the front of the house It has a Double
and two single beds sleeping 4 and has been tastfully re-furbished
in a victorian design in keeping with the house. There is a large waldrobe and
dressing table. The room has a power shower with toilet/ hand basin /shaver
point and mirror . The room comes with clean fresh towels, TV/VCR, tea/coffee
facilities and clock radio. As the largest room in the house it offers all the
needs of a family of four.

Room 5.... is a large spacious Twin/Double situated on the ground floor with a large bay window and attractive victorian fireplace.The room offers a hand basin ,mirror and shaver point.There is also a dressing table and stool. The bathroom is a short trip up the stairs which is only shared with one other room so is never busy. The room comes with towels, TV VCR, tea/coffee facilities and clock radio.

It offers seclusion and privacy away from the main house and is popular with
families and small children who can have the run of the garden and childrens
toys

Full English / Continental Breakfast
We have for the 4th year running been awarded the "Thanet Clean Food Gold Award" by Thanet Council for our Continental breakfast
The
Breakfast Room is available anytime and is self-service. Staff are available for any enquiries and information needed from 8am.The breakfast room is equipped
with a Coffee machine, Kettle, Microwave and display fridge packed with goodies.
A microwave is available for customers who want to cook ready made meals during
the evening.
We offer a wide range of Cereals, Grapefruit/Prunes, Fresh fruit/Fruit salad.
A fine range of breads that include White/Brown bread, Muffins,Croissants
and Crumpets. A range of Jams & marmalades, Honey & Marmite.
A range of fruit teas and English breakfast tea is on offer with fresh
filtered Coffee, Orange/Cranberry juice is available also.A range of
cold meats & Cheeses and Pates are available.

Abbeygail offers a large and extensive video library free
of charge for you to enjoy with VHS facilities in all rooms. Abbeygail
Guesthouse is a non-smoking guesthouse but we do
have a smoking area outside under the Cherry Blossom Tree
pictured above.
